Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate) Serum

Anti-Ageing

Our serum contains and rapidly releases pure and active Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Ester) below the skin surface, which then converts with skin enzymes into the active form of Vitamin A known all over the world for many years as Retin A or Retinoic Acid or Tretinoin.  It, therefore, provides another approach to a more youthful look.  Vitamin A stimulates cell growth and normalizes cell division.  It is, therefore, able to counteract the skin aging process and improve the appearance of UV-damaged skin and prematurely aged and damaged skin. Fine lines and even wrinkles, are visibly reduced, and age spots are faded.  This Retinoic Acid is in fact, responsible for most of the activity of Vitamin A and is the only topical substance that has been proven to improve the appearance of wrinkles. This serum has a 0.6% concentration.

ACNE

Retinyl works by stimulating skin cell regeneration and helping the clearing of blocked matter in the follicles.  It also helps to prevent the formation of new comedones. Salicylic Acid contributes to decongesting follicles, and Lactic Acid which gently exfoliates and it aids efficacy. 

CAUTION:  This serum may increase sun sensitivity to skin, so apply SPF 50  sunscreen every day.

Application

Gently massage a thin layer at night into perfectly cleansed, toned and dried skin. Don’t get it into the eyes. In the mornings, wash your face with a rough face cloth or Daily Mini Peel Powder to reduce possible flaking from the increased production of cells. Then, apply a water-based moisturiser and SPF 50+ sunscreen.
